Pork mince – 450.0 g

Garlic – 4.0 cloves

Rosemary – 1.0 sprig

Fennel seeds – 2.0 teaspoons

Chilli flakes – 1.0 teaspoon

Cracked black pepper – 2.0 teaspoons

Cherry tomatoes – 1.0 tin

Tomato purée – 1.0 tablespoon

Water – 1.0 tin

Milk – 1.0 tin

Olive oil – 1.0 tablespoon

In a large stew pot, add about a tablespoon of olive oil and place over medium to high heat. Add the pork mince and brown it well.

Turn down the heat and add in the garlic and onions. Mix them in with the mince and let it cook for 3 minutes.

Add in the herbs, tomato purée, cracked black pepper, and fennel seeds. Follow this with your tin of cherry tomatoes, water, and milk. Pop the lid on leaving it slightly ajar and cook for 2 hours or longer.

Serve with your favourite pasta, mixing the sauce with drained al dente pasta along with a little pasta water and lots of parmesan.
